| 16 bit ISA & VL are
multi-compatibility slots, eg an 8 bit ISA will fit into the first part of the connector;
a 16 bit ISA will fit into the first part of a VL connector. EISA slots look like ISA but are twice as deep. 8 bit and 16 bit ISA will fit into the top part of the connector. EISA, PCI, MCA and AGP cards will omly fit their own connector types. |
